Frequently asked questions and tips

What is the recommended daily portion of chocolate-covered nuts and at what times of the day is it best?

Being finely coated in dark chocolate and, therefore, predominantly composed of nuts, the ideal daily consumption is 30/40 g as per WHO guidelines. It is recommended to concentrate intake at breakfast and the two mid-day snacks, away from main meals. For example, after coffee.

I have celiac disease, can I eat chocolate covered nuts?

Both nuts and chocolate do not contain gluten. However, products containing gluten are processed within our plant, so cross contamination could occur.

What type of dark chocolate is it and in what percentage?

The variety of dark chocolate we use is Valhrona Chocolate. We guarantee a minimum percentage of dark chocolate of no less than 60%.

Does chocolate-covered dried fruit contain lactose?

Basically, no. But the dark chocolate used to coat the dried fruit is processed in the same machines as milk chocolate. So low rates of cross contamination could occur.
