Did you know that the Macadamia nut is nicknamed the ‘Queen of Dried Fruits’? This is because the Macadamia tree can take up to 10 years to produce its first fruits. Moreover, their cultivation is very complicated and must necessarily be done by hand.
To enhance the flavour of this very special nut, we lightly toast them in the oven. Once roasted, we carve them on one side, as their shell would otherwise be too difficult to crack with an ordinary nutcracker. This way you can finish opening them easily thanks to a special steel key included in the bag. You will find that it is also fun!
