For this porridge, we combined spelt flakes with puffed spelt for an incredible play on textures. The puffed spelt is more delicate and lighter and makes everything softer and creamier.
Here, the real stars are nuggets of our Modica Chocolate, Dehydrated Banana and Roasted Hazelnuts.
The hazelnuts contribute that crunchy, tasty touch and the banana, by absorbing the liquids, softens and gives a dizzying sweetness and flavour. What’s more, these two fruits provide the perfect dose of vitamins, minerals (such as copper and potassium) and fibre to start the day off right!
Once the milk is added, the cocoa powder spreads and mixes with all the components and the chocolate melt for a result so chocolatey and mouth-watering that you will never choose any other breakfast!

Why spelt?
In addition to the presence of vitamins and minerals (such as magnesium), spelt is rich in fibre. These help intestinal transit and make it a food with a low glycaemic index so as to avoid the occurrence of glycaemic peaks. Spelt, together with oats, is counted among the most protein-rich cereals.

HOT version 🔥
Ingredients:
● 50 g porridge mix
● 120 ml milk/vegetable drink
● 1 teaspoon honey/maple syrup
● Pinch of salt
● topping as desired
Procedure:
● Pour the mix with the pinch of salt, honey and half of the milk into a small saucepan and then turn the cooker on to medium-low heat.
● Stir until liquid is absorbed.
● Then add the remaining milk and cook until absorbed. Add more milk or water if you prefer a creamier result.
● Pour into the bowl and garnish to taste!
COLD version 🧊
Ingredients:
● 50 g porridge mix
● 80/100 ml milk/vegetable drink
● 1 teaspoon honey/maple syrup
● topping as desired
Procedure:
● Mix 50 g of the mix with 80/100 ml of milk or vegetable drink and a teaspoon of honey.
● Leave to rest in the fridge overnight.
● The next morning, mix well and garnish as desired.
